Lame or Not?

Ok so my user name is felinegroovy. My little goats reckon that’s really really lame, but I kinda like it. What about you? Lame or Groovy?

Daddle de da de da de da

Feeling Groovy!

Walking along cobblestones

taded da de da de da

feline grrrrrovy

ooooops LDD kicked in, any help with the lyrics appreciated.

  1. Slow down you move to fast
you gotta make the morning last oh
    something something cobblestones
    looking around and feeling groovy!

Yes now you make me look up the lyrics…

Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin’ groovy.
    Hello lamppost,
    What cha knowing?
I’ve come to watch your flowers growing.
Ain’t cha got no rhymes for me?
    Doot-in’ doo-doo,
    Feelin’ groovy.

    Got no deeds to do,
    No promises to keep.
I’m dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
    Life, I love you,
    All is groovy.

    Love the handle! CB xxx

  2. I had to think what handle meant – I’m a little teapot short and stout, here is my handle here is my spout!!

  3. Simon and Garfunkel is way before our time…

…even their solo careers are before our time…

Hey congratulations, where’s your new job?

  4. Not way before my time! We sang that in the back of the landy ALL the way around Australia as kids. Us and the Stewart kids. Mind you I was only 3 or so – no wonder I don’t remember the words.

SHHHH it’s not official yet! Do you think I’ve broken a blog rule by talking about it? Or have I perhaps put a woooogeee on myself by blogging about it before I get the official word?

  5. anyway what do you think of the new blog??

  6. hey al, what a terrific blog. looks like you’re really getting into it. hope i’m not stuck with “feelin’ groovy” in my head today – but even if i am, that’s ok….paul simon went on to make what was probably one of the first world albums with “graceland” and the ladysmith black mambazo fellas which is a brilliant piece of work. in fact, i’m gonna get it out from the sound library today!
    regards, Frances

  7. yeah i love graceland, diamonds in the souls/soles of my shoes …and ladysmith brill too. i’ll dig out that album for the dinner cooking episode tonight!
